Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a pay review after 90 days. Future increases are based on
performance and merit.
What You'll Do
Our Auto Line is a continuous, high-volume process. Depending on where you are working on the line, your responsibilities may include:
- Review job information, part counts, and special instructions before starting or changing jobs
- Hang and handle parts securely while maintaining consistent spacing and accurate counts
- Keep parts moving efficiently while watching for problems, count discrepancies, or quality concerns
- Inspect, count, unload, and help package finished parts
- Communicate problems right away and keep your work area organized so the team can stay ahead of the line
This is a fast-paced position, and you will stay busy throughout the shift. The Auto Line keeps moving, so you need to work efficiently while still paying close attention to the details of each job.
Attention to detail is extremely important. Accurate counts, correct parts, consistent hanging, and catching problems early can prevent an entire run from needing to be reworked.
Dependability is a must. Regular attendance, arriving on time, and being ready to work at the beginning of your scheduled shift are essential to this position.
You should also be comfortable:
- Following written and verbal instructions while working as part of a team
- Moving between different Auto Line tasks as production needs change
- Maintaining a steady pace without sacrificing accuracy, quality, or safety
- Standing for an 8-10 hour shift, performing repetitive hands-on work, and regularly bending, reaching, and stooping
- Steady 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday
- Regular performance and pay reviews with merit-based growth
